Corby
Motorsport is a Ltd Company and started life as a small mail order business selling
GAZ coilover suspension from the dining room at home! The business was
established in 2004 By Mike Cunningham.
Mike’s plan
was always to expand the suspension product range and to re-invest in stock and
offer a fitting and setup service.
Six years
on and we are now one of the largest online coilover suppliers stocking a wide
range of coilover kits for most makes and models. In conjunction with our own
fitting centre we have a list of approved fitting centres that offer fitting, lazer
alignment to fast road and race setups as well as corner weighting facilities.
We employ a
number of staff all with their own specific role. A major part of our success is
our user friendly secure e-commerce web site. We have a dedicated web designer
who looks after our ever growing internet catalogue!
Over the
years we have built many project cars which have helped to advertise our
business. Our latest acquisition (in August 2010) is our “back to basics”
project to illustrate what can be done on a budget build. Starting with a modest
budget of just £600 we acquired the car and within our overall budget of £2000
we will fitting every suspension tweak we can think of to show that you don’t need
big power and a big budget to run rings round “faster” machinery. After all,
suspension systems are what we at Corby Motorsport are all about!
Our aim in
business is to provide our customers with quality suspension tuning products at
the most competitive price quickly and efficiently. We are (as you can see on
our website) expanding into other chassis modifications such as big braking
systems and basic budget bolt on performance products such as induction kits
and exhausts.
We always, only
ever sell quality, branded parts which we would use ourselves! We take pride in
sourcing and testing new and exciting brands to bring to our customers.
