Converting your Astra's suspension to coilover gives you the ability to adjust and fine tune your cars height and damping stiffness to improve its handling performance. With our GAZ coilover kits, you are guaranteed a matching spring and damper combination which gives you car a ride that is firm but not harsh and exhibits superb control through bumps and dips during fast cornering – all too often we see cars with dampers and springs from different manufacturers. In these cases the ride can become crashy and harsh, the cornering ability is ruined and the car feels like it wants to throw itself (and you!) off the road.
Designed for fast road and track days, this kit comes with all fittings and bushes and uses your car's original suspension points meaning fitting is a simple bolt in job. The rear on the Astra (unless turreted) cannot be converted to coilover due space issues. We supply a pair of uprated adjustable dampers complemented by a pair of uprated and lowered springs.
This kit features shortened damper body and stroke lengths to allow you to lower you car by upto 65mm. Please note, spring rates can be altered on request to suit customers individual requirements we do not charge extra for supplying the kit with your own spring rates.
All kits are covered by Gaz shock’s 2 year warranty.
Please note we will need your front donor units as the stub axle is welded to the strut.
