Bilstein B12 Suspension Kits
The Bilstein B12 Suspension kitis a combination of the Bilstein B8 damper and Eibach Sports springs. Bilstein and Eibach have collaborated on these kits to produce a spring and damper combination perfectly suited to each other for the perfect blend of ride and handling qualities.
The spring and damper combination is offered in two forms, the Bilstein B12 Pro-Line Kit and the Bilstein B12 Sport-Line Kit. The B12 Pro-Line kitoffers a sporty ride and lowered looks (up to 40mm) whilst the B12 Sport-Linekit lowers the car up to 50mm for the ultimate stance and handling. Both kits have been extensively tested on the road and are suitable for occasional track-days.
The Bilstien B12 Suspension Kits have many advantages over competing kits, the feature inverted mono-tube technology moves the gas and oil cells away from heat sources (braking system) to produce a damper that performs consistently.
Unsprung weight is also reduced allowing the suspension to do its job properly, maintaining the damping of the spring over bumps and dips in the road, smoothing the ride without loosing traction or grip as the lightweight inverted dampers used in Bilstein B12 Suspension Kitsare able react faster than most other dampers.
Damping is pre-set by the factory after extensive testing so the Bilstein B12 Suspension Kit is a truly fit and forget upgrade, making it ideal for fast road and track-day use, where the minimum of adjustment and fuss is required. Springs are of the progressive design meaning they get stiffer as they compress more which is great for normal street driving comfort without sacrificing grip and handling through the bends. |
