Converting your BMW’s suspension to a coilover set-up will give you the ability to adjust and fine tune your cars height and damping stiffness to improve its handling performance both on the road and on the track.
With our GAZ coilover kits, you are guaranteed a matching spring and damper combination which gives you car a ride that is firm but not harsh and exhibits superb control through bumps and dips during fast cornering.
For this BMW model, two kit options are offered (please specify option required upon ordering). Option 1. Full coilover conversion front and rear, which is recommended for fast road and track day cars. Please also purchase rear top mounts as the rubber OE mounts will not take the extra loads of the rear coilover conversion. Option 2. Coilover front and separate springs and dampers at the rear (height and damping adjustment is still maintained), which is recommended for road cars (no top mount upgrade is required for this option).
To complete this kit we will need your donor front units as the stub axle as this is welded to the original strut and the GAZ unit is built in a similar way. Alternativley we can supply non ABS struts as donors for £110 per pair. Please call us to order if you wish us to supply the front struts.
All kits are covered by Gaz shock’s 2 year warranty.
