This is a full coilover kit both front and back. Most companies only offer a front coilover conversion with a seperate damper and spring rear as per the standard Corsa set-up. Not so with this GAZ kit!
Converting your Corsa's suspension to coilover gives you the ability to adjust and fine tune your cars height and damping stiffness to improve its handling performance.
With our GAZ coilover kits, you are guaranteed a matching spring and damper combination which gives you car a ride that is firm but not harsh and exhibits superb control through bumps and dips during fast cornering.
This kit is designed for fast road and track days and comes complete with all fittings and bushes and uses your car's original suspension points meaning fitting is a simple bolt in job.
This kit features shortened damper body and stroke lengths to allow you to lower you car by upto 65mm (actualy, most vehicles will go a lot lower but 65mm is an accepted amount of lowering that will not wear out tyres or bearing too quickly!).
Spring rates can also be altered on request to suit customers individual requirements, again we do not charge extra for supplying the kit with your own spring rates. If you have converted your car to a different engine such as the popular Calibra Turbo C20LET, let us know upon ordering and we will specifiy the correct spring rates for you (9" 300lb front).
All kits are covered by Gaz shock’s 2 year warranty.
This kit uses a 2.25" coilover at the front and a 1.9" coilover at the rear and is fully height and damping adjustable front and rear. Fitting the kit may require some simple bodywork modifcation (due to tolerances in vehicle production) to gain clearance to fit at the rear due to the tight fit and this varies from car to car and most dont need it. Modification is simply tapping bodywork with hammer to gain clearance if required. Please note, if wider wheels are used at the rear the kit may not fit.
