Following on from the success of the Gaz Gold Pro range, Gaz Shocks have developed the TVR Monotube coilover kits for the more sports oriented TVR customer. Due to their montube design, a larger 40mm fast flow piston is possible for faster reaction to maintain full suspension control over twisty B roads or rigorous track use. A floating piston is also used to generate consistent gas pressure on the oil reservior for a smoother ride without any loss of damping control.
Inverted technology allows the units to be mounted upside down to lower unsprung weight and move the damper oil and gas reservoirs away from heat sources (brakes) to maintain consistent performance.
As you would expect, the Gaz Mono is built from lightweight high tensile aluminium for strength and lightness and features rose jointed self lubricating bearings and double sealing with piston rod wiper seal to extend main seal life.
Silicon Chrome springs (for most spring rates) are supplied. We can help you selct the correct rate for your car and application and have the valving altered to suit at no cost. All units come with 2 year road use warranty. Every unit is fully tested and dispatched with an individual dynometer report. Every unit is made to accredited ISO9002 standard and fully tested and dispatched from the factory with an individual dynometer report.
