Gripper Diffs
Gripper Diffs are based on the well proven multi-plate principle but with a unique design that makes Gripper Diffs unusually progressive in action and extremely compact so they can be fitted into applications where before no LSD has been available.
The performance and durability of Gripper Diffs has been validated both by extensive testing and by successful usage on both track and stage. In Rallying Gripper Diffs offer the additional advantage that, in the event of failure of other transmission elements, e.g. a broken drive shaft (even at low levels of preload) they may still provide sufficient traction to drive out of a stage.
All Gripper Diffs can be set up with varying amounts of preload (known as ramp angles) to suit individual driver preference and particular race formula. Corby Motorsport stocks a huge range of Gripper Diffs, with popular ramp angles for road, tarmac and loose surface applications, for immediate delivery.
Free Additional Ramp
At Corby Motorsport, all Gripper Diffs are stocked with a setup that includes two ramps fitted (40/95 and 30/60) although many different ramp angles can be fitted to all Gripper Diffs depending upon customer requirements. A small adjustment gives you the choice of progressive lockup for tarmac racing and a faster acting diff for loose surfaces like rallying. |
