The Typhoon Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminium tube induction system designed to provide cooler, denser air to the engine for increased performance. It is a direct replacement for the restrictive OE air box and the restrictive factory air filter and inlet tract. Using the most advanced airflow management technology, the flow characteristics of the intake system are optimized to compliment the high-flow Filter.
 
K&N Induction kits are easy to install, a typical installation can be done with a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet-set in 90 minutes or less. The vast majority of cold air intakes do NOT require any cutting or drilling.
