Converting your cars suspension to coilover gives you the ability to adjust and fine tune your cars height and damping stiffness to improve its handling performance. With our GAZ coilover kits, you are guaranteed a matching spring and damper combination which gives you car a ride that is firm but not harsh and exhibits superb control through bumps and dips during fast cornering.
Designed for fast road and track days, this kit comes with all fittings and bushes and uses your car's original suspension points meaning fitting is a simple bolt in job.
Rear is not full coilover due to the torsion bars fitted to the Megane. The damper we supply is fully adjustable for stiffness. The height is adjusted on the Megane by repositioning the torsion bars.
The dampers feature shortened body and stroke lengths to allow a -25 to -65mm ride height adjustment (actually these kits will go much lower but care should be taken when lowering considerably for long periods of time. Sometimes this can damage tyres and wheel bearings).
The units have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and to minimise corrosion the unit is zinc plated.
All units are supplied with high quality coil springs in various rates and diameters. Spring rates can be altered on request to suit customers individual requirements we do not charge extra for this service!
Please note, we will need your complete donor front struts with spring & topmounts in order to complete the build.
