The unique gear operated Quaife differential design has improved and consistent traction out of corners which leads to better exit speeds and shorter lap times, whilst eliminating the unwanted torque-steer, under-steer and snatching characteristics of other types of LSD.
Because the Quaife differential is gear operated there are no friction plates to wear or break. The Quaife differential is fully automatic in operation, is a direct replacement for standard unit and retains normal axle lubrication systems (minimal maintenance is required for all Quaife differentials).
The Quaife differential is CAD designed, CNC machined, and inspected to ISO9001-certified standards. They are manufactured from quality-certified Corus steel billets. Over 100,000 Quaife differentials have been sold and still in circulation worldwide and are used in all forms of Motorsport, such as Formula 1, rallying, truck, drag and drift racing and are used as original equipment by Ford, General Motors and Daimler-Chrysler.
