We like the Pipercross Viper Induction Kits (we have one fitted to our own Nissan 200SX) as it ensures that the air entering the engine is as cold as it can be. This is important as cold air is denser than warm air, burns better and hence, makes more power and in our experaince, Pipercross Viper Induction Kits make the most power!
Most Pipercross Viper Induction Kits are supplied with a cold air feed pipe to bring this cold air into the system from the front of the car. The air filter itself is enclosed in a carbon fibre housing that insulates the cold air from the heat inside the engine bay ensuring that the cold air stays cool whilst it travels through the induction system. |
